VA Education Benefits Available for Entrepreneurship Training
Veterans may now use their VA education benefits for entrepreneurship training in South Carolina. The South Carolina Small Business Development Centers (SC SBDCs) have been designated as “qualified providers” of non-degree, non-credit entrepreneurship training by the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Following this designation, the State Approving Agency of the SC Commission on Higher Education was able to approve the individual courses offered. According to Dr. Karen Woodfaulk, Director of the State Approving Agency, South Carolina is among the first states in the nation to approve these benefits for our veterans.
Check with your local Small Business Development Center for VA approved courses.
